博伊爾斯已經在南卡羅來納大學打了兩個賽季，大一賽季出戰28場，場均22.8分鐘，得到10.4分5.7籃板1.8助攻1搶斷1蓋帽，投籃命中率59.7%，罰球命中率66.7%；大二賽季出戰32場，場均30.6分鐘，得到16.8分8.3籃板2.4助攻1.5搶斷1.3蓋帽，投籃命中率58.6%，三分命中率26.5%，罰球命中率70.7%。
